The smell of apple crisp wafted through Aggie Hall in June 2014 as we celebrated the opening of a brand new kitchen. To this day, delicious, healthy, made-from-scratch food is served.

Back in 1995, the doors of the Ladysmith Boys and Girls Club opened and LaFF was born.
Monica Stieda-Genge (yep, that’s our Monica) was Coordinator of the original program and based it on her experiences with a Vancouver program, which helped her with her 2 young sons.
“I knew nothing about babies, I was plunged into it and thinking, ‘What do I know about all this?’. The centre helped me feel I had value as a parent, making me really comfortable with what I was doing.”
