Vision/Mission Statement:
Mission Statement:
All Ladysmith and surrounding area Families and Caregivers with
children up to the age of 6 will have a supportive, enriching, safe, and
inclusive environment where they will meet to promote the development
of nurturing, healthy and happy families.
Organizational Structure:

A volunteer has the following responsibilities:
- To follow the above steps to becoming a LaFF volunteer.
- To contact the Program Coordinator if you are unable
to follow through with your commitment.
- To accept the guidance and decisions of the program staff.
- To sign-in when volunteering on the floor and wear a
nametag.
- To maintain confidentiality and not repeat sensitive,
private information (even to co-workers, parents or caregivers)
without the permission of the person who confided them
unless you have reasonable grounds to believe the life
and well being of another person is in jeopardy.
- To follow the principals of LaFF’s strength-based approach
to working with children and families. (See Triple
P Parenting information below)

Becoming a Volunteer (Checklist):
- You have read the Volunteer Orientation Package and completed
a Volunteer Application Form.
- You have completed a criminal record check form and taken it to
the Ladysmith RCMP station for processing.
- You have completed your interview with the Program Coordinator.
- You have attended a drop-in session at Aggie Hall for on-site
orientation.
- You are a member in good standing at LaFF.
